Media maven, married, no kids
Born in 1957 in a small town in north Texas on the TX/OK border. I lived there until June of 1969 when my Dad took a job in Chattanooga TN. I moved there and started the 7th grade. I graduated from East Ridge High School in 1975 and started at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro TN that fall.
I graduated in May of 1979 with a BA in Mass Communications. I married Lisa in December of 1979. We lived in Chattanooga until December 1989 when I took a job in Dallas TX.
We moved to Coppell TX, a suburb of Dallas in 1991.
Lisa and I seperated in February of 1997 and divorced on 4/15/98. We remarried 12/29/2001. There's a big story there that I won't go into in this bio. Suffice to say that God can heal any wound, restore any heart, and rebuild any relationship - if you allow Him to. It's what He does . . .
I work in the media business. Lots to talk about there. I'm a writer, producer, director, shooter, lighter, editor, whatever . . .
I used to work for Trinity Workplace Learning. They are in our second location and third set of owners. They are who I came to Texas to work for in 1989. At the time it was called Westcott Communications until it was bought in 1996 and became Primedia Workplace Learning. It was bought again on April 1, 2005 by Trinity Learning. I didn't't get much of a chance to do the things that got me started in the media business in my job. Not a bad reflection on that situation at all - it's just a fact.
I was VP of of Operations - in this case that means I was responsible for our NOC operation, our Duplication operation and our Library/Asset operation and a whole lot more. Each day was a full day of managing pleasure just not very much of the writing, producing, directing, shooting, lighting, editing, whatever stuff . . .
Which is why when I was offered the job of Storyteller at Irving Bible Church I made the move. It's a a great place to work and I can't believe that I've got the opportunity to do what I do.
my interests? what's not to be interested in?
